1. These conditions define the relationship between Madeira Mountain Tours and the client.

2. Booking an activity with Madeira Mountain tours requires awareness and approval of these conditions.

3. Madeira Mountain Tours is a touristic animation company licensed under RNAAT 1029/2019, issued by Turismo de Portugal, which authorises all activities offered by Madeira Mountain Tours.

4. Madeira Mountain Tours is a registered trademark by Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) – process number 631442 Z.

5. Madeira mountain tours guarantees a civil responsibility insurance and a personal accident insurance – apólice number 0005759905 – according to portuguese law in relation to touristic animation companies policy.

6. According to Portuguese law all participants in Madeira Mountain Tours activities are covered by this insurance.

7. The customer has the obligation and responsibility to guarantee that he or she is capable and in good health condition, for the practice of the activities he or she would like to book at Madeira Mountain Tours.

8. Booking Madeira Mountain Tours activities requires the use of the contact page available on the website or an email to enquiries@madeiramountaintours.com.

9. After a booking request has been made by the client, and approved by Madeira Mountain Tours, an email with payment details and instructions will be sent back to the client.

10. 50% of the total activity cost + bank transfer fees (if applicable) is paid upon booking via electronic bank transfer or paypal. The outstanding 50% is paid in cash on the activity day. Bank transfer fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

11. Madeira Mountain Tours has the right to cancel any activity, refunding customers after deducting the costs of organizing the activity.

12. Madeira Mountain Tours will not refund clients who don’t show up to activities.

13. Activities may be cancelled due to: adverse weather conditions; not being met the minimum safety conditions; reasons beyond Madeira Mountain Tours responsibility; not being achieved the conditions contracted between the client and Madeira Mountain Tours.

14. Customers are responsible for their own individual behaviour and appropriate conduct.

15. Customers can not put the integrity and safety of other customers compromised by any inappropriate action, or by conducting any action considerate inappropriate by the tour guide, or they will be excluded for the rest of the activity or tour.

16. In case of not complying with the rules and recommendations set by the tour guide on any activity of Madeira Mountain Tours, the client is responsible for his own safety. Madeira Mountain Tours will not be responsible for any accidents occurred due to costumers careless or neglect actions.

17. Madeira Mountain Tours is not responsible by client´ s personal objects. These are under the care of owners, during the activity.

18. Customers offer Madeira Mountain Tours all rights in photographic, audio, and video material obtained during their activity or tour, allowing the use of this material by the company for promotional purposes.
